Family Counseling

Conflicts between family members usually happen when their beliefs and opinions clash. While some of these issues can be worked through easily, other problems would require a neutral third party to be resolved. When you need an objective and compassionate person to intervene and help fix your family conflict, count on us. We provide counseling to those who are experiencing various issues, including:

  • Death of a loved one
  • Family members who can’t
    get along
  • Separation/divorce
  • Traumatic event
  • Family members with
    out-of-control behavior

We want to help you reestablish and maintain healthy familial relationships. To do this, we utilize several nontraditional therapy interventions, such as:

  • Art therapy
  • Sand tray therapy
  • Other creative modalities

Couples/Marriage Counseling

Relationships are usually rewarding. However, when couples face conflicts and stressful events, they may feel unhappy and dissatisfied with their partners. Because we want to help restore the wonderful relationship between two people, we offer counseling services to them. Some of the common issues that couples experience are:

  • Communication issues
  • Conflict resolution
  • Co-parenting
  • Premarital concerns
  • Sexual/intimacy concerns
  • Trust issues

During the session, we will help identify their problem and provide a safe environment where they could freely voice out their concerns. This way, our well-trained therapist can find the best way to assist them in highlighting the strengths of their relationship, enhancing their relational intimacy, and improving their overall relationship quality.

Therapy for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)

Teletherapy Services

Our team understands how hectic life can be. That is why we offer teletherapy services to our busy clients who couldn’t come for an in-office therapy session due to life responsibilities, tight schedules, and other reasons. To accommodate those who live in other cities, states, or countries, we use an online platform that is compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). The technology enables our clients to reach us through their computers and/or mobile devices.

To determine whether teletherapy services would adequately meet your needs or not, connect with us. Our team will provide you with an initial intake assessment.

Child Therapy

Children have their own way of expressing their feelings and coping with difficult situations. To ensure that your kid will grow up well, our team can conduct age-specific therapy sessions for him/her. We will help determine and address any behavioral problems your child may have.

Play Therapy

Many children have a difficult time expressing their thoughts and feelings through verbal language. To find out their troubles and help resolve their inner conflicts, our team uses play therapy. During the session, our therapist would play with the children to effectively communicate with them. Their thoughts and emotions would mostly be expressed in the way they use the toys.

By the end of the session, children may:

  • Become more responsible for their behavior
  • Gain effective strategies to improve their behavior
  • Cultivate empathy and respect for other people’s thoughts and feelings
  • Develop new, creative solutions to problems they encounter
  • Develop deep respect and acceptance of self and others
  • Develop self-efficacy and become more confident about their abilities
  • Learn social skills and relational skills with their family
  • Learn to experience and express emotion

Play therapy is geared toward children ages 3–12, but we also use this approach for infants and toddlers. To further strengthen the bond between children and their parents, we try to incorporate attachment-based, child-parent relationship as well as Theraplay-informed therapies.
